Metal Roofing installation is a detailed and expert field.

In New Zealand it is categorised as Restricted Building Work to be done or supervised by Licensed Building Practitioners.
The NZ Metal Roof and Wall Cladding Code of Practice contains some installation recommendations from a Design perspective.
The Roofing Association of New Zealand (RANZ) can provide further information.
